Vision BASIC 1.1+

This is the official “NeoRAM” package for Vision BASIC 1.1!  This package includes:

• The 352-page software manual
• The sturdy Vision BASIC software box (now deeper)
• Vision BASIC software on a brand new 5.25″ floppy
• Vision BASIC software on USB thumb drive
• A digital download of Vision BASIC
• A 1MB NeoRAM cartridge (a GeoRAM clone).

This version 1.1 manual has 34 more pages than the 1.0 manual and still includes a copy of The Spreditor manual inside.  A full command index has also been added at the back of the manual.

The Spreditor is no longer included as a separate disk.  Instead, the “SE” version (special edition) is included on the main disk.  Both sides of the disk contain the same exact disk image.

The thumb drive copy will allow folks who have a C64 Mini or Maxi to run the software, and also those who own other devices that can read D64 files from USB, and the digital download can be used in emulators like VICE.  The digital download should be available within a couple days AFTER the product ships.

The NeoRAM unit will ship with a battery UNLESS forbidden by the postal carrier of the destination country (if I cannot ship the battery, you will need to secure your own).  I do test the NeoRAM units myself, and they have been tested by the maker of the units themselves, but I am unqualified to make repairs myself and I do not provide a warranty of any kind.  The maker of the hardware might be able to help with needed repairs, but likely will require return postage (he’s in Sweden).  I do recommend having a power supply for your C64 that can handle the potential extra load that these cartridges can place on your system, but I know of no actual requirements beyond a regular C64 power supply.

The NeoRAM boards do come with a reset button, but this particular batch was provided with buttons that are a bit recessed to where they cannot be pressed easily.

NO RETURNS will be accepted due to the nature of the products.  An example reason for this policy is that software can be copied before a return is issued.  BUT all products that I personally ship out will have shipping insurance for your protection in case an item is damaged in transit.  The digital download does not include the manual in digital form at this time.
